Course Outline

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills that are required to manage accounts and resources, maintain server resources, monitor server performance, and safeguard data in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 environment.

The training includes the entire 70-290 Official training course plus 2 days tutor led exam preparation. Please note that this is the Microsoft Official Academic Curriculum training course and does not include the exam which can be taken separately.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is intended for individuals who are employed as or seeking employment as a Microsoft system administrators or systems engineers.

Entry requirements

A basic understanding of network configuration settings, desktop client installation and configuration and general hardware terminology. Microsoft recommends, but is not essential, the following qualifications :

  • A+ certification, or equivalent knowledge
  • Network+ certification, or equivalent knowledge

Delivery method

The course is a 10 day fully trainer led course. To help reduce the effect on your business of losing a member of staff for 10 days, this course runs 1 day a week over 10 weeks. Delegates then have the time needed to absorb and implement the information gained during these intensive training days.
