Course Outline

The course will allow you to work with an industry standard programme to build a site for your business. From html to working site we will be working through a series of examples, principles and design tasks to get you to a level of web design you can take away and use.

Delegates can also gain professional qualification credits towards a University Certificate of Professional Development or degree from De Montfort University.

Who is it aimed at?

This course is aimed at :

  • Business staff who would like to design and develop a self managed web site for their business or organisation
  • A sole trader looking to produce all online marketing and web design work for their own business to be truly independent
  • Anyone wanting to cut out the cost and time delay of external web designer contracts
Entry requirements

Although there are no formal qualifications required for attending this course, delegates should have an understanding of basics of either Windows or Mac desktop environments and have a basic ability to manage files and documents. Delivery method

The course is a 5 day fully trainer led course. To help reduce the effect on your business of losing a member of staff for 5 days, this course runs 1 day a week over 5 weeks. Delegates then have the time needed to absorb and implement the information gained during these intensive training days.
