Designing for the web takes different design principles, planning and consideration to work at speed and more effectively. This web based design course will give you all the skills required to build stunning web graphics and increase your work rate massively.

Course Outline

The Photoshop for Web course is aimed at developing your design skills as a graphic designer specifically for output to the web or e-newsletters.

Working with web documents is very different to working with standard print documents you will need a whole different set of skills to be able to work effectively in this area.

You will leave with skills in designing web graphic & elements, designing for web design methods, understanding latest trend, web graphic design principles and the workflow benefits of Photoshop to deliver quick easy to update documents.

Delegates can also gain professional qualification credits towards a 60 credit University Certificate of Professional Development or degree from De Montfort University.

This module is worth 10 UCPD credits.

This course is aimed at :

  • Individuals and business staff who would like to develop a knowledge of graphic design and a competent use of Photoshop to enhance any future marketing projects
  • Sole traders looking to produce all marketing and design work for their own business to be truly independent
Entry requirements

Either prior knowledge of the basics within Photoshop or completion of the Photoshop Essentials course. Delegates should have an understanding of basics of either Windows or Mac desktop environments and have a basic ability to manage files and documents. Delivery method

The course is a 3 day fully trainer led course. To help reduce the effect on your business of losing a member of staff for 3 days, this course runs 1 day a week over 3 weeks. Delegates then have the time needed to absorb and implement the information gained during these intensive training days.
