Axis Centre provides specialist eBusiness training and support to businesses, entrepreneurs, web professionals, and those aspiring to a career in these fields.
The history
The history
With a long history & reputation in a relatively new field, we have been training the Pros in website design, development and promotion since the early days of the web in the UK.
Innovators of series of Web and IT training and development initiatives including WebMaster, FirstSite, MCP unemployed, Drive Higher, Internet Professional, Network Professional, Higher Level Skills & Drive Higher to name a few.
More recently we have pioneered the learning community model, building an online and face-to-face AxisCommunity around our flagship Commercial Application of the Web Programme, and in 2009 launched the high profile eBusiness Champions, leading a team of East Midlands colleges and universities.

De Montfort University & Castle College
Key partners in the development of AxisCentre are De Montfort University who accredit most courses with University Certificate of Professional Development (UCPD) professional development credits.
Our new location
New for September 2009, AxisCentre occupy the top floor suite of Middle Street Business Centre, Beeston Nottingham, just 10 mins from J25 of the M1 and 10 mins from Nottingham city centre. AxisCentre forms part of Castle College and is part of the Faculty of Technology & Construction at the college.

New College Nottingham, Loughborough College, South Leicestershire college, De Montfort University in the eBusiness Champions programme. We are also actively pursuing collaborations with Broxtowe Borough Council, Nottingham City Council, the IBA (Independent Business Association), and with Web 2.0 Surgery community.
The team
The team consists of 10 specialist staff, including field active trainers and support staff, collectively with over 150+ years of field experience. We care passionately about helping businesses and individuals deliver meaningful change and focus exclusively on Commercial application of the Web.
