Course Outline

Over this three day workshop you will get the chance to look around Second Life with a guide. Discover how businesses are using Second Life to give added value to customers and staff. Whether it's an extended online presence to compliment a web site or a multi-user space to conduct business globally or remotely between regional offices.

The workshop will also look at how educational establishments, non-profits, businesses and Creatives are using virtual worlds. The benefits of virtual premises, seminar spaces, conference facilities and exhibition spaces.

It is a practical course giving delegates the opportunity to visit the places mentioned in the class material. We will also discuss the psychological, ethical and moral questions surrounding this technology and how much it costs to get started. A guest speaker will attend remotely on the final day to tell you how Second Life is working for them.
